My 4 new girlies from Wuv

Kelly sent me 4 new girlies...I got them back on the 14th lol..I just now got around to uploading the pics off my camera ) .

They are so cool...and very active and super interested in what I am doing. Not so much in each other though....I dunno how they will do in a tank together..I tried it for a few minutes and they acted like they might get a tad hostile...as when paired up neither tried to run..only circle each other and act like they "wanted some" . So I just think when I make my new tank...I'll make it with clear dividers so they can see each other but not get too each other lol.


I will post pics of each fish later on..I only snapped a few quick shots.

Of course I named them in Thai.... (big surprise ) :

Mai - Thai for Scorched
Lon - Thai for Singed
Pao - Thai for Set on Fire
Koo - Thai for Flame


Arrived safe and sound...full of color and plenty of fidgittiness lol

The colour is amazingly vibrant for post-shipping bettas. For how long were they in the post?

I'm generally reluctant to make assumptions/interpretations, but here I think that what Alix meant was that yes the pics are great, but the girls are so gorgeous that even bad pics couldn't hide the fact. At least, that's what makes the most sense to me, because I think all the pics are great and the girls are certainly stunning!

lol yes it was very clean. These are by far my cleanest fish TBH. They aren't nearly as messy as some of the boys I have..jeeze some of them mess their slots up quick!

Sometimes I have to vaccum out 2-3 of the boys sections twice a week lol. Dirty little boys. *scold*


You know...I got to looking around, and 80% of my fish are yours Kelly lol.

I had been debating on letting them be together or not. In teh new tank I am building. I decided after reading several threads about girls killing each other, that I would divide them but let them see each other if they wanted (they'll have caves and plants to hide behind if they need some "space").

And I think I made the right decision.

These girls are HOSTILE!!! They are big girls too...bigger then any of my other fish..including the boys lol.

I moved some of my fish around..to let these girls be all beside each other in my divided tank..and I took the dividers out so they could "get use" to seeing each other. (although in the 1 gallons tanks..they could still see each other too tho.)

This is what ensued....
