I felt the same way when I added my black background! crazy what a difference it makes. Can't be positive, but from what I can see, it looks like you have some java fern in your substrate. If it is, it will do much better with the roots free, attached to something, like one of your caves. Great way to add some height too!!!! Tank looks great!

Thanks greenmumma41!  I'm cleaning the tank today so I'll do the Java fern then.  Do I put it on with a rubber band or something?  LOL I sound like an idiot but...

Trust me, I've come up with my fair share of questions on this site as well lol.  You can tie the rhizome on with fishing line or super glue it on. If you use super glue, give it a good 10 minutes to dry, but maybe spray the java fern while you're waiting so it doesn't dry out. Good luck! post pics when you're done
