I'm new here at the forum! I have been keeping fish on/off for 8 years but I still consider myself a "newbie". I've had the below tank for a year and a half and it's gone through a lot of changes. I bought it over 6 years ago when I was in high school for a steal off craigslist, but my parents wouldn't let me set it up. I don't have any fancy cameras so I hope this will work .
This is my 37 gallon present day. I just ordered a moonlight - I'm really excited about it!!! This is after a gravel cleaning so it's a little cloudy. I am still filling in the plants
When I first started out:
Also I have a cat that loves to help with water changes.
I keep a cat perch in front of the aquarium, she usually never notices the fish but wow she LOVES the Angelfish. I took about 50 photos of her because it was so funny.
This is my favorite fish, my veiled angel named Panda! She is quarter sized now.
I also have a 20 gallon upstairs. I had so much stuff in my parent's basement it cost me $10 to set it up (the background). it's still cycling, it's going to rehome my serpae tetras and maybe some tiger barbs? I usually don't like whimsical fish tanks, but my husband bought me this ship wreck and I think it's kind of cute. I'm still not 100% sure what I'm going to do with it.
I LOVE the moonlight on it, it's a great nightlight for when my husband comes home late and doesn't want to wake me up.
The aquarium stand was free, my dad's solid wood nightstand painted black.
So those are my current tanks as of now
