So I've had this tank for... about three months now, maybe four, and for the last few weeks it's been a little cloudy due to a branch i added, but i took that out and i did a few water changed, plus added stuff to help clear it up, so now, after all that, i finally got a good pic

(too big to add a picture, so i'll just link it)

Right now it houses...
8 Serpae Tetras
2 Rosy Tetras
1 Convict Cichlid
4 Bronze Cories
and a kuhlii loach

Now all the plants in there are fake, due to the fact of having a convict doesn't really go well with live plants, but i'm soon going to add two more rosy tetras, and some ottos, and also a few more fake plants... And eventually, a background, lol
right now my current background is... algae, lol, which i'm letting grow a bit for when i get the ottos.

That's my convict, sorry it's a little blurry, it's the best i could get, since she doesn't like getting her picture taken...
she's just a little under 3" right now, still growing, lol

you have a option of 4 links under your picture in photobucket, copy and paste the bottom one and your picture will show in the thread.

I didn't know that
I never really use photobucket, so i wouldn't have known, lol

the tank looks good...a plant carpet background would be ideal...but are about 12 bucks per 18'' square.

good job

ps if you got rid of that convict you could add 1 or 2 more small schools of community fish...maybe a couple of gouramis

Another small school would be nice, but I'm not sure... I had gouramis before, and they were pretty aggressive (though I know it was just the indevidual fish) But, I love having that cichlid, and there's no where else to put her right now, so there's not much I can do right now
I'm getting a new tank soon, which is going to be planted , i can't wait, lol

if i were you i would get a minimum of 4 more rosy tetras casue they prefer to be in groups of atleast 6 and they same goes for cory cats they are also a schooling fish and i would say that 5 would be the minimum for corys

The Rosy tetras school with the Serpaes, so it doesn't make that big of a deal, but i am going to get another, at least, two rosy tetras, cuz they're expensive down here ($4 ea., $7 ea. for large) and the corys are fine, but i, yet again, still might get another two.

Aha, thanks paul, it's not exactly done yet, or really what I want (i wanted live plants), but it's still a work in progress, lol
