:D Hi

Just taken some quick photo's

The coldwater tank is up and running been cycling for the past 10days, should be ready for fish tomorrow.

The chiclid tank has been cycling for 20 days, just got the testing down at my locall store. They have said everything is perfect, so ive put Freaky freddy and Dally our two angels out of the the tropical tank into this chiclid tank. I Could do with some advise as what other chiclid and barbs i can mix with. Im lookng for a dramatic tank as its in the dining room and always in view

The tropical tank is at the top of our stairs. As we live in the flat its the first thing you see. We have 4 betta's in there. one male and 3 females, who are looking very fat!!?? Also we have a plec, upside down catfish and a tropical red crab that gets everywhere and killed our corydos we named Zoidberg, we think crabby patty, the crab nipped it one when it was feeding on the pellets and then fred and dal went for the kill!! LOL

Any advise would be brilliant, plus my wife says why have i put an onion in the tropical tank, my response was i havent the foggiest it just came with some plants i bought!!

Why have i got an onion in the tropical tank??

The 4 bettas do great

The 3 females we think are in egg. The male is a cranky old git and goes for them when ever he gets the URGE!!

Theres a dominent female but tother than a bit of fin nipping there a great group. First time ive tried to breed bettas so ant advice welcome.

INFACT

ANY ADVICE!!!

Also off the record can i get a an octopus in a tropical tank?

Maybe if you had a large tank and alot of experience, i think octopus are really sensitive fish? Not really sure as i have never kept any and havent purposefully researched them but that was just from memory.

Actually male and female bettas don't mix well with eachother, I suggest rehoming the male and adding one more female into the group. What is the blue blob on the sixth picture from the top? Please list the fish in the tropical tank becuase im not sure if some of them are compatible :/ tanks are looking good but im not sure about stocks -_-

Hi

The stairs tank house: 4 betta's (1 make and 3 females). I dont see the need to relocate them as they are getting on ok. Its female to female hostilitys that are the nasis for the guerilla warfare in this tank. The male just likes to take part in a dukes of hazard style cop chase once in a while!!

Also in this tank theres a tropical red crab and an upside down cat fish.

In the 3 ft tropical tank I have 2 lemon sided angels, a silver angel and a mottled angel with 1 commmon pleco

In the cold waster tank theres a fat head, pompom head and a Blue orando

In the haxagonal tank theres nothing as its only on day 3 of a new cycle.

Regarding the beast of bogwood, it was a buy from Petsathome :/ , i had it in the stairs tank but the upsdide down catfish kept using the Bat cave and kept releasing the Tanin to make the water look like a pubs male toilet at 2.30am on Sunday morning !

P.S. More pics to follow as theres a been a change around with the landscaping

I spend a week soaking mine in boiling water under it eventually ran clear.....changed the water every few hours.

Just finished re landscaping the tropical tank. I just wasnt happy with the flow.

So i purchased a 90cm air tube
a blue led lamp and removed the ship from the stairs tank.

I managed to get some spurs off the plants that are now being grown on in the stairs tank. I also purchased a new heater for the hexagonal tank in the bedroom thats on its 5th day of cycling.

Ahh I really do suggest that you remove your male. Its just that a lot of people don't see the need to move anyone until some huge harm happens but we can't force you to do it so.....yeah. But just take advice from people who have tried it before because I'm sure they won't have anything good experiences to share. But other than that, those are some nicely scaped tanks!
