my 12 year old albino BN

thank you. I think the main thing I do is I quit buying fish so I don't introduce disease anymore. he did lose his mate this past winter I think. Have to take a rock and driftwood arrangement down to find her bones when I get time.

I think my office got too hot this week, the tank was at 86 when I came in to do their water change. (heater was also still plugged in, I thought I had unplugged). I found his skull and her skull when cleaning the tank. Nothing in there but guppies and anubias now. I think she was also 12, or at least 11, since she vanished last winter. They lived long, lost one of the babies from their last litter too. Of last litter they had 10 initially hatch, when I moved tank to the office in Feb 2023 there were only 4, now there is only one, in the 29 gallon. A little female a couple of inches long. I suspect inbreeding might have occurred, the female may have been his daughter, so anyhow, I guess need a male or I'm out of the albino BN breeding game. and not in the office. It's a beautiful little Oceanic Hex, 35 or 38 gallon, but I am so tempted to sell it. Just because no room
