at least she's in a better place and doesn't have to suffer anymore.
Thanks Blondie that means a lot
day 25
PH 7.5
AMM 1.0
NITRITE .25
NITRATE between 0 and 5.0 maybe 3
70 percent water change. I showed my daughter how to change the water so hopefully I can start getting 2 water changes a day.

While you're cycling, you don't really need to worry about testing your pH, I notice yours is fluctuating quite a bit so you will need to keep an eye on it when it comes to adding fish but at the moment you don't really need to worry about it as its unlikely that it will spike or drop.

That's good that your daughter can now do the water changes, just make sure that she ALWAYS uses dechlorinater, otherwise some/most of your cycle will be wasted. If she can also try to match the temperature as closely as she can then that would be great.

OK thanks will do

Yes I found out my tap water has 1ppm ammonia(which the water department says is caused by the chloramine they use) in it lol. So ive been confused on what to do at this point lol. just been doing my daily water changes and dosing the tank daily with extra prime. Ill post tommorow what my levels are.

Using a dechlorinator that also removes chloramine, will deal with that. Nutrafin Aqua Plus is one that I know of that removes the chloramine.

Thanks Blondie Im using Prime but from what ive read it still shows up for positive ammonia because it bonds with the bad ammonia so it had me confused for a while because I was changing the heck out of the water and it didnt go down lol. I just ordered some tetra safe start to hopefully push the tank to cycled because im tired of it already lol, I could choke the LFS that told me to the fish in cycle lol. the link is what I bought do you have any experience with it ?

Most cycling products don't work and often people find that they're a waste of money. Since you've already ordered it, it won't cause any harm and could actually work. Just make sure to shake it REALLY well and you can over dose it a bit too.

You can't really overdose it.  Just put the whole bottle in.  The smaller size is rated UP TO 30 gallons, but it will do no harm pouring it all in.  Pouring it directly into the filter might help it adhere as well.

Overdosing the Prime to deal with the ammonia was the correct move as well.
