I'd really liked to have had pics of them from the beginning. But later is better than never. Here's my mustard gas crowns @ 2 weeks old

"How cute am I??"
(Very, my lovebug  )

Please ignore the brown algae :X I leave the lights on all day and I can't exactly get in there to scrub just yet.

And finally an aerial shot, which is really the best way to view them when they're this small :) Every little spot is a betta

Thanks! The CT's should be double the size by this time next week, looking forward to it :)

The deltas are my little miracle babes! In more ways than one, it amazes me how strong they are. Yesterday I was doing a water change on both tanks, I did the deltas first, replaced the water and noticed a bit of debris so I sucked it up with the turkey baster. Sure enough I got a fry, the entire wc went smooth but my last attempt  So he was swimming in a cup and I went to move him back via the baster. Well...the 4" between the cup and the tank was a looong trip because he fell out with the drip that came out of the tip. I yelled a few choice words and immediately began looking for him on the counter, he was nowhere! I crawled on the floor looking for a teeny tiny 1 week old fish...nothing :( This went on for a few minutes until I eventually gave up. I looked at the tank and saw this gross looking blob on the bottom side and thought "Wtf?" and scratched it with my nail (what a dummy!) it was the fry!!! He was stuck tail down between the frame and the glass of the tank!!

So I put my hand beneath him and started flushing him out with water. He landed in my hand and omg...he was so tiny flopping around. I plopped him in the tank and he swam off. I was certain I'd find a dead body in there this morning but... :dunno: can't even tell which one it was.

Wow! You're babies all have great adventure stories!

They are so cute! I love the little bellies

EDIT: Mwauaua!!! I win this time!

WOW! That's one crazy story... I am certainly impressed with how tough the little guy is. :flex: I want that one... maybe he won't go all floppy like my orangie did when he got here!!

They are ADORABLE. I can't wait to see pics in a week!!

omg!! I almost fell out of my chair laughing at "go all floppy"

Hey! I've since found out why that happened! I was trying to be the good mommy and send them off with a final meal BUT you're not supposed to feed 24 hours before shipping  Live and learn, it won't happen again! No more floppy bettas for you   :*)
