I like all kinds of different music. Vampire Weekend, Mumm-ra, Foster the People, Rhodes, Alison Krauss, Feist, etc. They all make really good music.

You play bass? Cool! And being a bass player I love some Primus, RCHP.. just all sorts! I love music
I'm with ya on that (Bootsy Collins). I also listen to blues (Buddy Guy, John Lee Hooker etc.), some big band music (Glen Miller,), classic rock, and Doo Wop.And loads of funk... The old stuff like Parliament Funkadelic. Modern stuff like Vulfpeck are fun.
I've not listened to Primus in (many) years! All sorts. A lot of electro dance house stuff from Berlin/Germany recently.. Dominik Eulberg, Boris Brejcha, Stephan Bodzin, Robag Wruhme, Ben Böhmer, Isolée, Siriusmo, Modeselektor, Apparat
Got Deftones new single on right now though
Also like prog stuff, Elder kept my ears busy towards end of last year.
Slowdive brought out a lovely album last year

Oh aye huge Jane's Addiction fan too. Got lucky and saw them at Leeds festival (UK) ages ago when Strays came out. Weezer were on before them and Pulp headlined. Then Aphex Twin was on later in a tent. Ahh the good old days hahaI've not listened to Primus in (many) years!
RHCP and Jane's Addiction saw much more play. Still listen to both of them on occasion.
I'll go to any George Clinton concert I can get to. Make my funk the P-funk
