Ok about two days ago i got two German blue rams (i think they are both male). I also got four tiny neon tetras to go with my other four neons which i have had for ages. This morning though i find two of the new neons missing, one of whom's carcass was lying on the bottom of the tank and being nibbled at by my rams. Is it possible that the rams killed my neons!? Or could they have just died for some reason and the rams thought they would make them their meal? :shifty:

Nothing serious btw, I'm just curious. :)

Well, I think that neon died for some other reason and like you said, rams started to eat this dead fish.

Usually these rams are quite shy and calm fish but they are from time to time found to harrass e.g. tetras - just chasing them, not hunting.

2 males in small tank... hmm... Keep your eyes on those fishes!

neons are delicate little fish and could've died from shock of the new tank -_-

the only time ive seen a ram kill a fish was when my Threadfin rainbow got too nosey and wanted to check out their breeding grounds
