As usual, I was looking at the lfs new batch of fish, and I noticed they had mudskippers! So neat! lol They were in with things like tadpoles, and newts (salamanders). Does anyone know anything about these guys? I like my oddballs... :alien: :fun:

  have to laugh. great minds think a like i guess. i was at the lfs over the weekend checking out their bw puffer selection and in the tank above were mudskippers. neat looking little things. i'm curious too.

Did your's have them in a full water tank, or was there some "land" in there too? I would think they would need to get out of the water...

they had them in a big tank about 3/4 full of water with a big rock shelf thing just under the surface level that many were resting on, out of the water.

Yes, I would think that you would need some deeper water and some muddy but clean land for them to 'skip' on.
