when I first started my tank I knew nothing about keeping an aquarium , over this past year I’ve learned a lot from these forums mainly.
I’ve been very excited to redo my tank , I just haven’t had time.

I finally made time , and I am pleased with how it turned out , not like anything some of you have but it’s definitely a step in the right direction

That very over sized plant just grew a mind of its own and decided to become a forest of snails and algae it broke and now looks like it’s a baby again so hopefully I can regrow it a little more maintained this time.

I do have a black hair algae issue I would like some input on also please ,

Thank you

For the algae I would recommend either amono shrimp or nerite snails (some amonos eat black hair but some don't) you could also add a algae remover or remove the algae yourself
Also what is the size of the tank and what animals do you have in it
