I got a problem here.... Im going to be moving soon and I need help with what I should do with my 26 and 10 gallon tanks. What should I do with the water and the fish. I could put them in bags but how long could they live for in there... Its gonna take me a while to set it up again.

How far are you moving? Is there any way that you could set up one tank at the new location before hand?

Yeah, try setting it up and then taking the fish with you and dumping them out asap. Also, try keeping as much of the old tankwater as possible, and keep the gravel moist so the bacteria doesn't all die out. Also keep all the filter media.

I left my fish in 2 3-gallon buckets overnight and had no casualties. You might be able to pull this off with a couple of airstones just as long as the water they're in is their old tank water and that you cover the buckets up.
