Hi! I'm not sure how fond you guys are of the cartoons sorts, but I LOVE animated movies. I have recently been introduced to Howl's moving castle, Spirited Away, Ponyo, and Princess mononoke, which is different than what I'm used to, but I love them all! I was wondering if there is any others along these lines? Mostly like ponyo and spirited away.. I love the art!

Shame you havn't gotten to watch them sooner! Miyazaki is wonderful.

Kiki's Delivery Service
Porco Rosso
Laputa/Castle in the Sky
My Neighbor Totoro
Grave of the Fireflies
The Secret World of Arrietty
Tales from Earthsea
The Wind Rises (This is the newest, not on DVD yet and is likely leaving theaters soon but keep your eye out for it. This is his last film IIRC)

THIS has some other ones that I didn't name.

Wow literally 2 days ago spirited away pooped i to my head! Ima watch it tonight?

I REALLY want to watch The Wind Rises, it looks so interesting! Though as you say, I can't find it on blu-ray or dvd yet

Miyazaki movies are some of my favorite movies! Castle in the Sky is my favorite, be sure to watch that one from nin's list! :)

Kiki's Delivery Service is one of my favorites. I think Ponyo stole the number one spot for me.

I love these movies as well. I believe the most recent one I've seen is Ponyo (which used to be on instant stream on Netflix, but it isn't any longer. :/ ) but Howl's Moving Castle and Princess Mononoke are my top two.

I love the art as well, love the music, and I just love the way each character really works as an individual. It's obvious to me that each character gets just enough attention that none of them are flat.

On a side note -
If you guys are really into movies that each scene is a work of art, I HEAVILY suggest 'The Secret of Kells'.
The whole thing is hand drawn and breath taking. I simply loved it. It's a bit different...

Recently watched 'The Girl Who Leapt Through Time'  - Mamoro Hosoda movie

Its very good, i enjoyed it.

Also, 'My neighbour Totoro' and 'Princess Monoke'  as well, cant remember who directed these one.

All these are pretty good.

I like anime, I stopped watching it so much after I naively bought a few dodgy ones
