in the picture is a fully developed male and capable of impregnating the female/ females and probably has donePretty little guy...won't be long until he's able to impregnate the female, so keep that in mind...also, she can store sperm packets for months, so more fry could be forthcoming, regardless
Agreed, after looking at the pic more closely, the female looks preggers already....in the picture is a fully developed male and capable of impregnating the female/ females and probably has done
I also couldn’t bring myself to give away my first fish. I gave away the rest of her siblings but she was in my first batch of fry so I kept her bc she was my favorites somehow.Yeah definitely the case they breed like crazy.
Just can't bring myself into giving my first fish away crazy I know but attached to them
Males in community tank and the 4 females in there own tank.
Had to move the males back into the tank at that point as I had around 50 fry and fry tank was cycling at the Time.in the picture is a fully developed male and capable of impregnating the female/ females and probably has done
The survival rate for guppy fry is usually high Guppies are the most popular tropical fish a great beginners fish also for experienced fishkeepers, its the easiest fish to keep and breed average age between 2 and 3 years when kept between 70f and 74 f, if kept in the high 70s it can often shorten their lifespanHad to move the males back into the tank at that point as I had around 50 fry and fry tank was cycling at the Time.
Survival rate of guppy fry is really high in the planted tank with stratum much more than I though it would be.
