Moss Balls

Just a question i have few large moss balls for my 6x2x2 tank running on t5 lighting. i brought theses moss balls 2weeks ago but there seems to be a few gray patchs showing up.

Are you rotating them? What are you feeding them with, and do you add CO2?

No not rotating them i am just starting to feed them with TROPIFLORA - plant fertiliser no i do not add co2.
