tank is stunning mate, a real credit to you and the hard work you've put in.

The coral you bought looks like a pink honey coral to me. a sort of frogspawn (euphyllia yaeyamaensis).

Was Sold as a bubble but I suspect its a plating Frogspawn was only 15 so was fine with that picked up a 8 headed "small head" duncan for 15 as well much cheaper than I have seen else where would not go to the shop again for corals though selection was poor lights where "intresting" none of our local LFS`s

Was looking at my tank last night thinking I need to trim back my xenia a bit if any wants some let me know.

Just doing my weekly tasks and thought I would pop this photo up as it shows how good the Aqua Medic skimmer is

I paid half the price of a Deltec for this and it took a while to settle in and a few tweaks but now it runs quiet and pulls out thick skimate

Just for Seffie these are great snails for turning the sand Tonga Nassarius snails size wise the shell is about 20mm - 25mm nice and big

I run a heavy mix of Softies LPS and adding SPS now its a fine balance but seems to be working

Anyway todays tests where less than pleasing

KH, Mag, CA and PH low so really need to add this CA reactor tonight to try and tweak it up a bit salinty is down a little to 1025.5 but I will just run a salted top up this week to bring it up a bit

Finaly got my power board installed so electrics are looking much much better, Whilst putting my clean sock in noticed my phosphate reactor was not fludising spent 5 mins playing with pump till I noticed I had plumbed it in back to front doh

now have space to install my CA reactor so mixing salt atm

Thought I would pop a photo up of one of my new addtions for this week

I know the glass needs doing just been busy doing the rest of my cleaning skimmer etc and water tests

Found a very useful little device for those filling RO containers and flooding floors as they get distracted, I was forever forgetting to check how full they were and end up cleaning up water, so I invested in a sensor useed by the visually impaired that beeps as they fill up a cup, I just clip this on the each of my Water containers as I fill them and it beeps when full

CA reactor up and running so water checks everyday for a week now to see how things look

Need to do something with a few wxtra power points undecided as of yet

My new addtion has done her time in QT I should have waited another week as I added the perc last week but as all stats are good I added her in

Not the best photo she moves very fast

Also Added this blue tip Coral either stag or acro will look good once it settles in
