More Pygmy's Or Different Species?

@Isadorala, did you get them from Stephen Smiths or did you go to the one in Bradford that Caz suggested?

Just interested to know what you thought of Stephen Smiths if you went there :)

@Akasha, yes I did go to Stephen Smiths.

Uhm, well since I went there at midday, I guess... HOT was my first impression
I mean it must've been over 30 degrees in the place, seeing as it's in a greenhouse basically.
My hubby basically fled back to the main building and I don't blame him.

The most of the fish seemed ok, a few dead ones, but I guess that happens in most of the places.
The reason I got the julii's is because they just looked unhappy, as there were just the 2 of them in a corner, and no hiding places in the tank.
Most of the places I've been to back home put a branch or rock or something in.
They certainly are a lot more active in my tank than they were in the shop, looking for food, next to having little swimming sessions.
(Of course they never stop swimming  Oh well I guess you know what I mean :D )

I do think one of my pygmy's having an idenetity crisis
He likes to to do the rounds with them and shoots off after them every time they pass by.

I have a peppered like that. He/she thinks it's a bronze instead

Sorry to hear they had dead fish  I've only ever come across one dead fish on my trips there - perhaps I've just been lucky.

They normally have quite a few different cories in. It's where 6 of mine have come from and they've all been healthy - the other 3 came from Moorlands near Knaresborough but they often just have the Sterbai in now and nothing else. They had some black cories today but I know I'd never see them against a black substrate so I won't be getting any.

I fancy either panda's or the one's Caz has just got but if I'm being really honest I'd need to upgrade to a larger tank to add anymore - it's not fair to cram them in.

I have no real plans to go to Smiths in the near future but should that change and they have some pygmy's do you want me to let you know?

Yes please, and I'll ring them to make to ask if they can keep hold of them for me this time.

Yeah, I already want a bigger tank too
Unfortunately having an 'illegal' tank in my student flat is all I can realistically keep though

okay, I sometimes go for a drive just to get out of the flat and end up calling in for a nosey!! I'll let you know if I see anymore pygmy's :)
