More Kg Bettas Bettas!

Mine actually weren't all that cold considering the weather Though they did arrive at 7am Bloody postman woke me up!! Maybe they were kept somewhere warm overnight i took a long time getting them into their tank so they could adjust to the temp difference gradually though

And i absolutely love the white PK! He is beautiful! SOOOO active - he's flaring at his reflection in the glass right now He loves his tank too - He keeps biting at the fake plant, has he never seen plants before?? I am planning to condition the pair and spawn them asap cos i love them both

Wow Jess I have to say those are absolutely stunning ! and the nicest ones (in general) I've seen in a long time. I totally adore that rose pink / white male.

Mine are on hold. Until the weather warms. *Gets onto met office to find out when that is.* Ah well, at least they're safe....just wish they were here. I hate having empty tanks all set and running.

yes miss dibs dabs safe, and wow jess he almost looks gold in them pictures looking really nice not sure if he has seen a plant or not but he like the female as he really flaired at them whilst he was on the tank barracks..

Aye. According the met office the weather will be much warmer Tuesday. ( www.metoffice.co.uk for those that don't know). But of course we all know that can change. Just keeping my fingers crossed.
BTW K I was wrong. It's meant to be 5 where you are and 6 where I am. ) Really should learn to read maps better.
Ollie is flaring at the empty tank next to his currently. Daft fish. Guess I shall have to put a screen between them.
Got a friend getting interested in the bettas now. He's asking alot of questions about them anyway. Not sure I considered him trustworthy enough to take care of fish tho.

\take him under your wing and look after him I'm sure you will be able to teach him how to look after fish properly......

bloozoo- I totally agree I cant wait to have babies!!! (the fish obviously, not ME... )

He has started to go a little more gold as he'ssettled a bit more, but it could be the lighting too - He's in a window so when the sun is directly on the tank the fish always seem tolook different! He is stunning though! He just looks so pretty swimming around his little tank..

Miss dib dabs - Hope the weather warms up soon! Its best to wait for it to get warmer though as apparently its going to get REALLY cold over the next few days,poorlittle guys would be in bags of frozen water Hope you get yours soon so you can post somepics up though!

The real possible problem is if Kevin sticks up more HM's beforehand and I get tempted. )
I think his wife might be a tad upset if I took him under my wing....and he's too easily tempted by the ladies. Maybe I should just direct him here.
My mustard gas VT flares everytime I put food in. *doh* And he'll be next door to the black CT once he comes. Should be interesting to see how they react to each other. (Both have good solid lids on their individual tanks.) I get the impression he feels a little lonesome with no bettas near him.

i will then as have a few more to put on..... but its supposed to have a little snow in places what crazy weather we have here still i suppose it is still winter really and the music my youngest daughter has asked me to put on the crazy frog sorry...... she loves it

Nooooooo!!!! Not frog. Anything but frog. *cries* Actually there was this large woman in the Crobar towards the end of last year and myself, best friend and a guy friend of ours where having some drinks and this woman looked so much like a frog we spent far too much time doing the sounds from it just within her earshot and crying with laughter. Yes, I know, we're very sad ppl.
Apparently we had a threat of snow in this area tonight and it's pretty cold. My Dad has to keep a close eye on the weather as he's the one responsible for sending out the gritters in West Suffolk. Not my area but it means he gets all his info direct from the met. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for Tuesday as that looks the closest so far. The Monday night is warmer your end but we're getting a reading of 0 that night. I'd be tempted to come get them but being that both my son and myself have deen horribly ill I couldn't manage the journey right now. Maybe in the week if it insists on staying cold. Wouldn't be the first time I've done long trips for fish. )
Hmmmm more HM's.......I may swoon.

I love it when they make bubblenests, its so sweet! And he's SOOO proud of his little bubblenest!!

The blue one had attempted to make a bubblenest but gave up after about 10 bubbles

Awww that's a beautiful nest from the fella.
I've moved Squidge (blind girl) in next to Ollie in the smallest tank. Her old tank will be cleaned up and used for one of the boys as it's bigger. Thought she might prefer a smaller tank and feel less lost in it. Ollie seems happy for her to be there and isn't getting worked up by her presence.
Kevin still hasn't put the new boys up yet. So saying I've slept most of the day anyway. Stupid high temperature.
