Fish Crazy
Hi,
about 3 weeks ago I got 3 bristle nose plecs which I put in my 3 ft tank with 7 cory (5 small & 2 larger). Never saw them at all for three days then one appeared (hiding under the bogwood) & he was the only one I saw for the first 10 days (she was still hiding).
I was getting worried by this point so moved all the objects in the tank (even moved lots of sand) & managed to find the second one. As the tank needed a good water change I removed all hiding places & 50% of the water. Still just 2 bnp (plecs not British nationalists). Two days later I found the third. I don't know where he was (but he has gone back there .
They don't seem to understand the rules of the game i.e. 2 hide & the 3rd seeks 'cause they all hide.
Is this normal for bnp? If so, how do the breed if the don't look for each other?
