Hi all I have a 60l tank, more upright than horizontal but still a good size for fish. At the moment im stocking

2 x Honey Gouramis
6 x Harlequin Rasboras
8 X Neon Tetras

I would like 6 black widow tetras or some galaxy rasboras, Do I already have enough fish or would six more do the job?

Personally I think six smallish fish like the tetras or rasboras would do ok but you guys might know better :)

Man buying fish becomes addictive :p

Thanks

I'd say that you are about stocked right now, you have 2 nice ' centre piece' fish and 2 good sized shoals.

Anymore stocking and you may encounter problems so I'd stay clear im afraid.

You look about good with the stocking

if you were to add anything to the tank i would add 3 corydoras of some breed.

As long as you can maintain your water quality, I'd be looking at something bottom dwelling. Your tank is going to start looking like piccadilly station at rush hour if you pack much more in at the mid level.

haha your quite right actually

hmmmm!, I wish I could go buy a bigger tank but I only just got my current one!, this fish keeping thing is addicitve :p

A pleco wouldnt be suitable :( my tank substrate wouldnt be right for the fish

What is your substrate?

If the gravel is rounded and not sharp then corydoras are a very good choice. I recommend some Panda corys. They have brilliant character.

The substrate needs to be smooth as they like to rumage around and if it's sharp, they can damage themselves easily.
