Well, I might be gettingv a Cape Lopez Lyretail pair soon. So I was wondering- can you keep the eggs in such a way so you can post them? Only they do produce a lot of eggs, and I'm sure some ebayers wouldn't mind some killie eggs. I know you can dry out peat spawners eggs, but what about mop spawners?

I've posted Killifish eggs in the past, the way to do it is to get hold of some specimin vials ( the kinda one's you get from the doctors ) maybe you might be able to get them from the chemist shop. Get yourself 3 pieces of polystyrene the same thickness as your vial. place your vial on one piece of poly and draw around using a felt tip pen or similar then cut out the shape. This will be where you place the vial with the eggs, then the other two pieces of poly form a sandwich above and below. Sellotape them alltogether and place in a plastic fish bag and then place the whole lot in a padded postage envelope.
Don't forget to include the species name and the date the eggs were collected and the expected hatching date in your correspondance.
