Moonlighting Kits

Is there any moonlight bulbs that can just stick onto the bottom of the lid instead of having to dedicate a tube to it?

cheapest i could find on the net and its only 4inches long and covers my whole 29gal tank

WOW! Boy am I ignorant.... I've never seen these before didn't even know about them! Soo very interested here, I've read some of the posts to do with the Moonlights but how do you go about them in the sense of do you have them on at night all night when you turn the normal light off or what?

I bought some of the ones Sarah was talking about. One of the best purchases I've ever made. I have them on 24-7, but you can't see them when the main lights are on. They look fabulous, get in there!

Are those separate lights ok - they look kinda like fairy lights to me I thought you had to get like a bar/tube?

Nah, they work a treat.

You can point them at bubble curtains which looks incredible, or areas of interest in the tank. Personally I reckon the shards of light look much better than a general glow anyway. Plus the power consumption is so low you can disregard it. Did you look at Sarahbravo's tank in the thread in my initial post?

I've tried to take a photo of my tank before, but my camera is useless and won't expose for long enough.

I would urge you to buy these, but it's down to your preference really.
