Just wondering what people think about the moonlight leds/lights

would like to know what you think

I think it all comes down to personal preference.

I personally think they can look good in the right setup whereas others will probably think they look tacky.

I had some, got bored of them very quickly. Good if you have nocturnal fish.

I have bulb cold cathodes, which costed about $10.


I rarely ever use them unless I'm feeding my caecilians at night.

I think I would like them but i'd have to have them on some sort of timer otherwise I'd never turn them on...

Is there any benefit to fish in having them or is it all aesthetic?

I like them, had them on all my tanks so far, makes it nice to be able to view the catfish etc... Plus it looks cool at night.

Got them on a timer to sync with the main lights. Means that the fish don't get the sudden jump from darkness to full light and back again.
