Monster Catfish

Wow that is a beast! I didn't know there were rods and line so strong to hold that, and I'm surprised he wasn't pulled in! only half hour to land it too! glad he put it back though was dreading to read what they may have done with it.

true. well I would like to see a brute like that in a tank with a cpacity of 2000 callons

mad to see theres monster cats out there compared to our little cory cats living in tanks at home.

I've read of walking, 'talking' catfishes from thailand that got loose in florida bullying dogs offmthe street in a reader's digest mag back in '95 but i had no idea they could grow this big :D

Piranhas and sharks attacking people are gruesome but i'm thinking it's gonna be a funny sight to see someone being eaten by this catfish. All you'll get are a lot of tickles from the barbels and lots of kiss marks from the mouth lol

well their mouths are like sandpaper really, so its like being bitten by  a guy with sandpaper for teeth

Haha! Ouch..

I think there's show on Nat Geo where contestants were putting their hands in underwater burrows and then they were attacked by catfishes haha

LoL believe it or not, it's a pretty well known hobby here in the States. It's called "Noodlin"!!! People catch catfish by finding them in their hiding places and getting the fish to clamp onto their hands. It looks to be pretty painful :p
