Monitor Help!

aldi have a 22" widescreen for £150..

its Tevion brand, its not "naf" its just foreign. you could say naf.

The monitor is not very good but it all depends on what you want it for. Gaming, Internet Browsing or Graphics?

8ms response time is not very good for the price. The resolution could be a bit better. Image ratio 500:1 is dire and not worth it.

Always look at the specification of monitors and check out if possible who makes it. A lot of screens are all made in the smae factories and its only the outside that looks different.

Samsung is a good make to consider for the cost.

Also, dont fall for instore warranties of places like PC World, they are not worth it as they try and sell you a 12 month fix or replace when in actual fact the product has a 3 yr warrenty for free.

Low response times(8ms), and my 17 inch runs the same resolution (1280x1024) So the res isnt too good. Also its got no DVI input. (vga only)

Id say no. I have a samsung syncmaster 730b, btw.

Besides, dell is over rated. Their monitors arent too shabby but the whole company is over rated. Get a samsung. They have the best monitors imo.
