mom swordtail and platy issues

How can I get my momma platy and swordtail to stay calm in my breeder box when it is time for them to give birth?

Take them out of the breeding box, these are very stressful to the fish as you are finding. Leave the mother in the main tank to give birth there. If you have plenty of decor in the tank, some of the fry will survive. If you try to save every fry, you'll soon be over run.

I left my platy in the main tank but bought loads of extra plants to create hiding places. When the fry were born I transferred then into another tank and then put them back in the main tank when they got big enough.
