I got 3 speckled mollies 1 week ago, they are all females and they are the only mollys i have, the biggest one keeps chasing the other 2 around the tank,
i feed them and my other fish twice a day, at 5pm and 10pm with a couple of pinchs of food.

what could be the reasons for this ? and can i stop it? i dont really want to get a male, because i dont want loads of little babies, but if you think if could sort them out i will.

Hope someone can help.

100%, i asked for all female when in shop then i double checked when i got home and they are.

i've had this happen to me before. the guy at the shop gave me a male platy when i asked for a female :( anyhow.. agressive fish can be dealt with by adding more coverage in the tank or by seperating them if it is way out of control. I had a male mollie that constantly harassed one of my females making her flop upside down and bang into the gravil etc.. really really agressive and terrible guy. I got rid of him asap! i will not tolerate stupid agressive fish anymore. luck i got a store credit YAY!

For some reason mollys do that...I did read something on another post recently about why but I can't remeber...basically it will happen and all you can do is make sure they don't hurt each other!
