Could anyone please help me how long does a molly take to deliver fries once the squared belly is formed. It has been hiding and not eating well, so I separated that in a breeder box within the same rank.
I know what you mean. Squaring off is "mostly" a sign that she's close to drop her fry. But experience tells me also that it doesn't have to be that she'll drop this fry soon when being squared off. Mollies are known to hold on to those fry longer than expected. That's why I gave you my former reply.Thanks. My actual question is when can I expect her delivering fries. Based on the picture (that was taken yesterday)
@emeraldking any suggestions ?Looks like the belly is growing bigger. Just wanted to make sure if this is normal ?
Like I've said a female molly can hold on to the fry for much longer. It also gives the embryos to grow more (which makes the belly grow more as well, of course). Which is normal.@emeraldking any suggestions ?
