i have 3 mollies in a very larg breeding net ( takes up most of a 4 foot tank ) that only the babies can get to the rest of the tank
i have one female and two males in the net and the female does not even show any signes of babies and has not for a very very long time

You may have more Success with the recommended ratio of  1 male 2 females or add more females, Your female moly will end up getting chased almost continuously. remove males to give the female a chance to regain strength . Feed a variety of good quality foods Gravid females  should be kept in a calm  environment.

i know that there should be more females but im selectively breeding marble ones and could only get 3 males and one female then a male died.

If there are more males than females, the females will get hassled by the males and become stressed, which is why it is better to have more females than males. Maybe add some more females, try to locate the ones you're after. Could have them online.

no i cant get them anywere. think ill just leave a male and the female together and see what happens

remove males let female drop fry see if  marble male as done it's job

1) Increase the ratio in the female's favor, even 1:1 will take a few weeks from my experience.

2) Play romantic music. They love smooth jazz. XD

I'm just wondering whether the the breeding net is the issue. When you say it takes up most of a 4' tank, do you mean just the length or are you talking about width and depth too? If it's quite long but not very wide and/or deep, it may be causing the fish stress, and this may be why she is not producing fry.
