Unfortunately I am in the need to get rid of my fish. I did give quite a few away to people with experience, but I got an email from this one lady and it seems sketchy. She said she has a 55 gallon tank, with a turtle and she wanted to add a school of fish to the tank...

Now tell me if that is a good idea or not. I'm thinking the turtle would just eat the mollies.

I have a 55 gallon tank with a turtle and we want to get a school of fish for the tank. I was looking at these at Petsmart and thought they were kind of cool. Let me know.

Suggestions?

there is only 1 breed of turtle that don't eat fish, not sure what its called but its not a common pet turtle like sliders or maps

99% of turtles are predatory and would eat small fish like Mollies, plus turtles also produce a lot of high protein poop which often fouls water quality too much for fish to live in anyway.
