Moey And Sparkle Are Wrapping Again...

GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!


Well my fish are wrapping again, but it isn't right. Moey 'thinks' he wraps himself around her, but she just swims away. She isn't even turned so that he can fertalize the eggs!

I've seen them wrap before, so I know they can do it.

Anybody know why they aren't doing it properly this time?

From what I could see, there was only a small cluster of them, but they are there all the same.

It's been 48hrs, the nest is all broken up, and I can only see a few random eggs all over the place, and Moey isn't gurading it anymore.

I had taken the female out and left the light on for Moey.


I've left everything as it is incase they are late hatching, but it isn't looking good.


Even if there are no babies this time, atleast I'm getting closer. Now I know what eggs in a nest look like. To me it was really obvious, but the next day they were a bit harder to see. They turned sort of clear or something?

Ok, well there were no xmas baby betta fry, but I did get some boxing day guppy fry!

Better then nothing I guess?
