At the moment I have 5 black tetras, 1 male betta and a pleco catfish (the catfish will be moving by the sounds of it).

I am moving to a 1 meter tank next month and would like to expand. I would like more tetras, now could I mix in glowlights and neons or am I better off with blacks? Or are there other tetras?

Someone told be to look out for breeding/frys with tetra but tbh, with a betta there, I doubt I will save any fry if they did lay.

All advice is welcome x

There are loads of different types of tetra, and I am pretty sure you can mix different types- I have mixed penguin tetras and harlequin tetras. I have a feeling penguin tetras may be nippers though, so it probably wouldn't go with your betta!
