Mixing Sharks

My fault - I am talking just about 2 different ones. The ones I have are silver with black fins, which I now believe are bala sharks. The other, I believe as I have not seen it yet, is black with red fins.

Sorry about confusion!!!!!

Okay - in case anyone is still reading this - have done it and put the other shark in.

Upon seeing it, it is smaller than my bala sharks. It seems to be fine and is not bothering anyone else and no one is bothering it either!

Will keep an eye on them and see how it goes!!

Thank you for your help!

IMHO, adult silver sharks need upwards of 10 feet in tank length!!!!!!

Who on this god-forsaken earth had a 10 foot tank!!!!

Hmmmmm Perhaps a real aquarium, that charges admissions!......but other than that, whoever wrote that must be on something! That would be way over 500 gallons! And if we were to go by that length, nobody would ever get a silver shark again.

I have two in a 55 gallon and they are fine. I would have to say a 4ft minimum would be more accurate.
