Mixing other fish with a Betta

I am almost finished doing a fishless cycle on a 39 gallon tank (36"L x 12"W x 20"H). My daughters have been picking fish from a book for their tank and have settled on the following,

1 male Betta
2 Platys
2 Swordtails
2 Corys
6 Zebra Danios

Does anyone see a problem with any of these choices co-habitating with a Betta?

I was told that danios can be fin nippers so if thats the case you cant really put them with a betta,But ive never had them before and im no expert!!!!!

I've had bettas get along with all those fish, but I've never had Danios before so Iam not sure about them
