Mixing fishes

Hello everyone. I got this new blue dwarf gourami 2 days ago and I love it. I also got 2 neon tetras and one guppy the same day but unfortunatlly they died over night. I'm not sure what happened. Its summer here so I assumed the temp was too high (95 degrees). But anyway, my shy gourami survived and I was hopeing to get 1 or 2 more fish. Which fishes do well with a blue dwarf gourami? I was wondering if i can get another blue dwarf gourami but am afraid they might fight. Would adding another male of the same species in I have a 5 gallon tank cause problems? If so, what are some other friendly fish that will get along? Any suggestions will help. Thanks

I say just keep you gourmai by it's self and mabye get some corydoras because you have a 5 gallon you shouldn't add to many fishes.

Don't add another gourami, there is not enough territory for them in a five gallon, they will fight. It's a bit of a small tank but you could try a pair or trio of otocinclus.
