20 gallon

Emerald Corries are one of the larger Corries, getting about 3 inches long. A 20 gallon high wouldn't really be good enough, but a 20 long would be better since it has a larger "footprint" and all Corries are bottom dwellers that appreciate a larger space in which to scavenge.

Wow, I just saw that you have 4 Mollies in that 20 gallon.................

You don't have aggression issues with that many in a 20 gallon? Molly's create a good deal of waste per fish.

Yes, if it is Brochis splendens, often called 'emerald cory', as sometimes is Corydoras aeneus,

C. aeneus are not referred to as 'emerald cory.' Their common name is 'bronze cory." Please do not confuse them.

I have to back up FM's point in that i too have seen in many instances the Emerald Cory, reffered to as "Brochis Splendens" (correct), as well as Bronze (not correct). Its normally down to poeple not being able to properly identify C.Aeneus from an "Emerald Catfish" (which while confusing, isnt incorrect, it still forms part of the Corydoradinae sub-family of the Order Siluriformes (catfish), under Callichthyidae.)

I think FM was merely pointing out that there are indeed places out there that use the "Emerald" name (albeit stupidly) for the Bronze variety of C.Aeneus.

EDIT : Spelling :/
