Hi..I have a mature tank with RDP and fed them earthworms a few times, I rinsed the worms off completely but still have a soil mite issue in the H2O, has anyone else had this and is there a way to rid the tank of them before I have to start a new tank and cyle?

Well I tried finding something to your situation. However all I found was one place (which I cannot link you to b/c of forum rules) and they said that they should not be harmful. However I am not a professional at this. But the best thing would be to try and get them out by netting, of some sorts, or wiping them off with a paper towel. And they should hopefully go away.

Also do you have a planted tank? This may affect how long they live in your tank.

We probably looked at the same site you mentioned ^.^. I have artificial plants in my tank, so they aren't living on the plants. I can only assume they came in off the worms. The fish don't seem to be bothered by them.
Guess I'll wait a bit and see
Thanks for responding :p
