Can anyone identify a minnow please? Grey body with a white stripe from tip to tail ( going through the eye ), red dot where tail joins body then black mark with the rest of the tail transparent. A pretty fish when you can catch a glimpse of them swimming by.

Sounds like a White Cloud Mountain minnow to me

I would describe mine as being grey, they have gotten darker over time (as they get older?)...What would you describe them as Wolf?

Thanks guys. Yes they are the same as your pics. Lively little things arnt they? Thanks for your help.

I'd describe WCMM's as being brown, unless of course they are the golden variety :p

(Wolf)
Id describe WCMM's as being brown, unless of course they are the golden variety.[/U]

AS the light catches them they look either grey or sometimes a greenish grey. The posted pics tell me they are WCMM's.
