MINIMUM TEMPERATURE???

What would you say the minimum temperature for keeping bettas is ?

I live in the UK so it is not the hotest of places so do you think they would be ok in my garage (which is quite warm)??

I want to get quite a few small tanks for bettas but was wondering if this means having a heater in each tank???

Any other suggestions??

68 degrees is the absolute minimum. A temp of 76-78 would be considered perfect.

so do you think you would need a heater for 20 degrees

The temperature fluctuation in a garage would be huge. Why don't you put a thermometer out there and monitor it day and night for about a week. And you would need heaters during the winter anyway.

build a barracks system that way one heater will be ok for all tanks tou t have to have a big system one or two runs would be ok.........

Can you get the betta jars at most lfs??
