Minimum Tank Size

Depends on the size of the fish as it grows. For an adult common that say maybe gets to 8-10 inches then i would personally say 50 gallons to allow for any more growth and swimming space.
But if you can afford to upgrade as your fish grows then for a fish thats between 1-3 inches then 10-15 gallons, 3-5 inches 15 - 25 gallons and 5- 8 inches then 25-45 gallons seems reasonable to me, but as goldies grow so fast then this may become very expensive.
Of course thats my opinion and also the fish needs the best filtration. Personally i think once a goldie reaches 5 inches it should be in a pond where it can easily get to over a foot if genetics are good.
A lot of people keep goldies in smaller tanks and this results in the fish becoming stunted which to me is unfair.

Generally 20 gallons for the first and 10 for each aditional. But I agree with black angel they really need a much bigger tank mine are in a 60 gallon in the winter and all they do is move up and down the glass or sit on the bottom. In the 300+ pond with three fish they are amazeing I can watch them for hours, in the tank I never really look at them

Exactly what they've said, vantagE is right with the pond. They're much more enjoying to watch in larger spaces.

do you know how long she spent in the bottle? a lot of growth is done in the first two years and she could now be really stunted. i'm not saying she wont grow any more just that it may take her longer to get to a good size.
no one knows the true size she will get to but i would say that you should buy the biggest you can afford with 10 times filtration.
