Miniature Gourami?

I purchased some fish this evening from a reputible store. In a seperate "soft water" tank they had neon tetras, several other types of tetras, and some fish that sort of look like a very small gourami. The main fish guy was out to lunch, and the clerk that was helping me had no idea what they were. I purchased 12 neons and 2 of these, what look like miniature gourami. They had a sale on this particular tank for $1.00 / fish.

Now, I am familiar with gouramis and dwarf gouramis, but I haven't seen a gourami this small. They are about an 1" long and dont resemble any other gourami I have seen. The clerk that was working had no clue what they were.

I could not find a link on the net that would produce a picture of a gourami that resembled what I have. Does anyone have any pictures of a miniature gourami, or a link that I might follow?
