Mini Cycle. L333 Is Acting Very Strangely

After my filter stopped working earlier today it looks like my tank is going through a mini cycle.

One of my L333's is acting really weird- swimming madly around the tank and stickly to the glass at the top of the tank.

I'm really worried..... I know that when a plec starts acting out of character it's not good!

Gonna do a big water change now and hope for the best!

It sounds like he's trying to avoid the higher ammonia levels that supposedly occur at the bottom of the tank

Do you have another tank with a cycled filter that you and move media about in - Give the tank a kick start?

Did a water change last night and gonna do another one tonight.

Thanks smithRC - I'll ensure I take the water from the bottom

stevenufc - he is a stunning fish - still at the top of the tank but I was SO relieved he was OK when I got home from work.
