Microworms

It's good to know you’re doing well with them *pete* , they do multiply very fast I have around 40 Grindle worm cultures lol.

The Grindal worm culture has really gone well, I started feeding them to me' Guppies five days ago and they don't touch the substrate if you know what I mean lol.

Edit... 40 !!! ... Good grief Fish48, what do you have ... a fish farm lol.

A fish farm lol. when I'm not feeding Grindal worms
I feed this equivalent of water fleas each week. All have been rinsed in a net with clean water and all still alive and ready to feed to fish.

Lucky fishes lol.

Do you culture/breed Daphnia too ?

It’s much easier for me to collect the Daphnia I know where and how to correct it all year around,

in the summer months. I put some buckets of water Alongside the garden edge/Bush to collect mosquito larvae.
Below, mosquito larvae at two weeks old collected from water in a mop bucket

Mosquito larvae is a far better food for the fish. the only problem is when they turn into mosquitoes. when I see them in the fish room I catch them and feed them to the bigger fish

Apologies for jumping into this thread, I am on the lookout for some Grindal worms, I have several microworms cultures running for my guppy fry but am looking for something bigger for the adults.
Would someone be able to send me a starter culture ? I'm happy to pay postage & something extra. Drop me a pm if you can help (still limited to 2 pm per day as under 60 posts)

What would you charge for grindal worm starter culture can't find any online .

Cheap at half the price fish48... just about covers the cost of postage.

Edit... Tartan guppy... I can't recommend Grindal worms for yer fishes highly enough.

Very cheap I'm getting some !! looked for Grindal Worms on Amazon they don't have any , they have them on e-bay but I've bought on e-bay before bad experience with ebay won't use it . Live foods are so expensive bought daphnia , blood worm & tubifex this week £20 starting your own cultures are so cheap and easy once you can get hold of the starter culture .
