can some1 give me some good info on micro bubbles what are they.why they are bad.how to stop getting them etc..
cheers lee

Microbubbles are just that...small bubbles that occur from, eg, a piece of marine equipment. It is a myth that they are bad for the tank. The only negative thing about it is that the small bubbles may act like a skimmer, i.e., drive DOS's to the surface and create a slick. SH

boy a i glad to hear that ive beren crusading against microbubbles as long os ive had my tank because of fear that it will cause embolisms in my fish, critters and corals and kill them. :p quite happy now

do u know how to get rid of the red slime (cynobacteria)?

some people claim water changes, but i found that made it worse. I recommend which worked for me was, put new rowaphos in and dont do a water change for 2 weeks till u see it dying. And also cut back on feeding.
