Mickey Mouse Platies

Make sure when you collect them that they've got a clear MM marking, like in the photos in the posts above - sometimes they label them as MM platys but they just have a vague black splodge on the tail. As you're a fan, hold out for the real thing!

my males marking is quite big and kind of blends together into a blob, although the females is perfect

the shop did ask what colour but then he said he could order an assortment of colours so i can pick which colour! hopefully well more likely to get a few males and females so i can get babies yay!!
when i get them, in a few weeks, i will defo post pics!!

Congrats on the mickeys Jodie. I also have some swordtails with the mickey mouse pattern on their tails. It seems somebody has been crossing the mickey strain with some kind of swordtails. Mine are an orange body with a distinct mickey mouse tail pattern. Got a trio of them at a local club auction.

wow really!! i shall have to look for those. I just got them today!! they are all orange and 1 male and 3 females so soon i shall have fry whoop whoop!!! i will posts pics when ive found my camera!!
