Hello

I need a little bit help has anyone here keep these fish Metriaclima Livingstonii......

also would anyone be able to send to a page with some info on thses guys,

I tried and searched for a fews days now to not much luck

I'm asking as i have a Breeding Colony been shipped to me on monday and want to have a nice setup ready for them 2m,10f ,

anyhelp would be great as i have never seen or heard of this fish untill the other day....

Not usually a wise thing to order a fish one knows nothing about:

Heres a link from cichlid forum on the fish:
http://www.cichlid-forum.com/profiles/species.php?id=900

Outside of what that profile tells you I can't really say much: depending on your tank size(i hope its pretty large, given these are likely aggressive), you should be ok. You will need to provide shells for breeding/ protection purposes, and remember theyll need to be large to reflect the size of the fish.

I hope this helps somewhat

Goodluck :good:

i would not normally buy fish this way but at a case of beer i could not go wrong.

they will have a 4 foot to them self's,
shells
I need to go out and get some.

In the mean time would terracotta pots be alright there small to a bit bigger oh.
cheers for the link

Sounds good. You could likely get away with mainly pots if u didnt want shells. I also wonder what substrate your going with?(Sand is prolly best for these guys, youll see why).
