Never heard of the company. Their tanks are almost free. I wonder how thick the glass is? If I was in England, I'd be calling them Monday morning.

Hey!

I can go one or two better than that!

I have driven past their store in Hertford about a two dozen times. I suggest a visit by myself to have a quick squint at the quality. As soon as I have taken a sneaky peak, I will report back. Hope the glass is ok.......

Is that ok for everybody?

Hi All,

I'm going to drop into the shop tomorrow, the 29/2/05. I was hoping to take a camera with me, but can't borrow one in time.

Still, we'll all be a little wiser tomorrow. :p

Details to follow.......watch this space

Well Guys, paid them a visit, today 29/2/05 ( I insist!) :sly:, have some details, so here goes.

I guess all we need to know is how they are put together, and what they are made of.

Float glass, 6mm, with a 10mm base up to 48x18x15, anything bigger gets 10mm glass all round, with a double bottom on the larger sizes. The silicone looks tidy, and sustantial, and the stands are also made in-house.

They can drill for sumps and overflow systems, and can install weirs. Drill sizes are standard 51mm or 27mm.

They come with coverglasses as standard, and the hoods look as though they could take on big lighting with no problems. There is plenty of room for filter hoses and cables, with large 40-50mm holes in the back of the solid looking hoods.

I can only honestly describe them as a value range of tanks, but very sensible all the same. The finish is not quite up to the standard of Rena of Juwel, but you could never get a tank of a similar size from either of those manufacturers for anywhere near the same money.

All in all, a good value range of tanks, with the made in the UK stamp. I'm ordering a corner tank, of my own design. So endorsed by me. B)

Now for question time at the zoo......

Much obliged to you taking the time to visit

Will be placing an order for a large tank myself in a few months when I've sorted out some room
