Minx, you and Star4 didn't warn me about the flaring. I nearly had an eppy on Sat, I thought the two boys had growth's. Now I understand doh.

LMAO Lil monkey, no its a normal thing, males flare to show dominance and to display to females.

You can just see me sitting there going oh my god whats wrong. I know they are still young yet, but there is alot of flaring and dancing going on, and my threadfins are getting jiggy with it.

Got some new additions to the tank, so my tank now has the following Cichlids (names concocted with my son Robin who is 6):

Heres some of my Cichlids.

Gold Severum

1 Eyed Texas brought for £2 lol

Lazy Male Convict which keeps swimming and then bumping down as if hes full of lead? Had alot of fish of person who wanted to get rid so dont know about the fishes background. Never had it before but im maybe guessing the fish is really old.

Pretty Jewel Cichlid. Never seen one with so much blue on.

Jack Dempsey and Small nicaraguense in background.

Fatty Female Pink Convict. She is also a bit funny too and always swims face down as if she got too much weight at front of her body lol.

Also can anyone help with the identification of these please. I have got 3 of them in seperate tank and hoping to breed them once the male pairs off with a female. I know they are a type of Geophagus but im not too sure which one. Im thinking maybe Geophagus brasiliensis which is also known as the Pearl Cichlid but not 100% sure. Any help much appreciated

i've had many angels so i'm going to keep the angels to the 4 i have now and the 2 I just rehomed:

my blue acara, not as colourful as some ive seen. hes the same size as the keyhole above

juvenile angelfish about 20-50c coin size (aud). the marble has a different pattern on each side

My Uaru are BFF its cute

Albino BN with black eyes. Not a cichlids but still cute.

The ruler of the tank they even the big guys fear him.
