Member Titles

The list expands as the user posts. User may have any title as long as the number of posts qualify. It would be interesting to see what kind of 'community tank' we'd get. These are just examples:

0-9 Caviar
10-29 Fry
30-99 (default to "Fishbait" or user's choice of Guppy, Betta/Plakat, Ghost Shrimp, Tetra, Rasbora, Oto, sea slug, any small schooling fish like anchovy, minnow, danio)
100-249 (Fiddler Crab, Crayfish, Goldfish, Koi, Puffer, Tang, Pleco)
250-499 (default to "Sharkbait" or user's choice of Catfish, Clownfish, Archerfish, Cuttlefish, Octopus)
500-999 (Pike, Stingray)
1000+ (or whatever you set it at - custom)

Hehe, good one itty.

Maybe we could come up with a list from common to uncommon to downright rare fish that people can use at each stage. And also, you have the choice to pick a fish from a level before that, in case there is a fish you really love in the earlier stages and want to stick with that.

Also, what fish you choose is an indication of what fish you like, and what you are most experienced in.

P.T.

i found out what ryans avatar is :D

but i'll keep it a secret incase he wants to tell everybody :)

I always thought Fish Food should be one of the stages mabey right after newbie.

i always thought ryans avi looked like he decided to do a revers harvest on an alien abductor and that was its furry plush head sitting in the back of an suv.

Yeah well like you have already seen I didn't like the ones we had a year ago and they are the same ones now! We should change it, however the system has to be; specific names except when you hit X number of posts and can choose whatever you like. This forum is about general aquatics and personally I think the broad naming system is the best, something like interested ideas, an adaptation of the titles would probably be the best. As otherwise for the top level not everyone will know what:

"Pisces, Unicornis" is.

I am not bothered, the only thing I think should be changed is that someone is considered a newbie if they have less than 10 posts. Just because someone is new to this forum, that does not mean that they are new to fish. Also, people seem to think that the number of posts someone has directly correlates with the amount someone knows about fish.

Hope I made what I think clear, I am tending to gibber a lot post Glasto.

 Confused you all so much, just a little Ribena Berry.
